This training session reviews the medications and general medical conditions that may affect qualification for implant treatment, surgical healing and long-term peri-implant care. It discusses antiresorptive, antiangiogenic, immunosuppressive and other therapies that may modify bleeding, infection, immune response or bone turnover.
The module includes an initial knowledge assessment, educational presentation and final knowledge assessment.
